24 pallet table
reclaimed shipping pallets and steel

This table is built from the reclaimed wood of 24 shipping pallets. The original pallets were from a company that made reclaimed wood flooring from (you guessed it) . . . old shipping pallets. They made their pallets from the wood they couldn’t reclaim as flooring, and some of the pallets they discarded use once they were damaged found their way to my studio. The channels left open on one end of the re-re-re-cycled planks make musical notes when you run your finger across them.
